Padding

The concept of extending the length of a game in sacrifice of integrity and enjoyment.

Stat Padding

An act which improves the statistics of a player's account with little to no benefit to their team or chance of achieving the desired objective. In most cases stat padding can ultimately result in losing and should not be confused with boosting.

Some circumstances require more than one player to collude in the act where a dummy account could be used to buff the stats of the padded account. It is also possible to stat pad by co-operating with a player on another team, which is widely considered a form of cheating.

A select few games may allow players to complete objectives or performing actions in an empty server padding account stats.
